For leggings, printing (specifically Direct-to-Film or screen printing) is almost always the better option. Because leggings fabric is designed to stretch significantly, embroidery threads can sometimes restrict that elasticity or cause the fabric to pucker. Our high-stretch prints move with the fabric, ensuring your logo stays crisp without cracking or hindering your movement.

The most popular and effective placements for branding on leggings include:

• The High Hip/Waistband: A subtle, retail-style placement that looks very professional.
• The Lower Calf: Great for visibility, especially when paired with oversized personalised hoodies.
• The Side Thigh: The "classic" sports placement, perfect for club crests or school names.

For dance schools, we recommend high-waisted styles with a high elastane content. These provide maximum "stay-put" security during jumps and stretches. To keep your custom design looking fresh, we recommend:

• Wash Inside Out: This protects the print from friction with other garments.
• Cool Wash: Keep the temperature at 30°C to protect the adhesive in the print and the Lycra in the fabric.
• No Fabric Softener: Softeners can break down the bond between the print and the fabric over time.
• Air Dry Only: Never tumble dry personalised leggings, as high heat is the primary cause of peeling and cracking.
