Dewsbury rangers are a football club here in West Yorkshire, who focus on creating a place for people of all ages to play the sport in their free time. The club is over 25 years old and began with only two or three players. They now have almost 300 juniors and adults involved with the club. They do an amazing job of bringing football lovers together and uniting a community with sport.
We love to support our local community and as the Dewsbury Rangers are just down the road, we jumped at the chance to sponsor them! We have lots in common too. We both aim to inspire and unite people through shared experiences. We bring people together who share the same passion and interest. What better way to support this team, than by uniting them with a kit.
We personalise their football kits for free. Our print pros add their logo to the front chest and numbers to the back. But why do we do it? We know that our support can have a big impact for teams like the Dewsbury Rangers. The money they would’ve spent on kit, can now go elsewhere. Our help means they can afford more equipment and improve the club now and for the future.
We took a trip down to training, to see exactly what impact our sponsorship has. It was clear to see how much enjoyment was on that pitch and it was a great feeling to know we are a part of that. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the chairman even had time for a chat. Check out the video above to find out exactly what we got up to.
“There’s a sense of identity and belonging, certainly that’s what we try to do”. This statement from the chairman sums up the whole reason behind the sponsorship. Something as simple as a kit, creates a powerful team identity which affects how they work together. Each age group has their own unique kit so they can be identifiable as a pack and look professional. “They can identify discipline, enjoyment but certain belonging with individuals who are like-minded.”
